YEAR 2004:
I switched teams to Kawasaki/Pro circuit in 2004 to ride their new 250F. I was really excited about riding a new bike that had never been ridden before ! It turned out to be a very good year so far for me, placing 3rd in the west coast SX series and battling with James Stewart for the win at both Las Vegas Supercross and Hangtown national. I have had lots of good races so far, but also been running out of luck there and there.
2003 : In 2003, I signed with team Sobe Suzuki for a 1 year deal to ride 250cc. I brought my parents over to help me and training was going really good during the winter. I love the Suzuki and it's great to work with someone like Roger Decoster ! I get along great with teammates Travis Pastrana, Sebastien Tortelli, Sean Hamblin, Danny Smith, Brandon Jesseman and Mathieu Lalloz.
I had problems at the first SX race in Anaheim and after doing a blood test I was diagnose with the Epstein Bar Virus again ( EBV ). Since then I have been on a very strict program to get rid of it and it has been working great, until I crashed at the Minneapolis race during Saturday practices. I broke both my Fibular and Tibular bones in my left leg and I will be out for 2 month. I will be back at the Nationals opener at Glen Helen, hoping to have a great outdoors series !
2002 : Second year on a 250 with team Chevy trucks/Kawasaki. I placed 5th in the Supercross Series with 2 second place finishes, a couple 3rd, 4th and 5th. I didn't finish the National series due to injuries and the EBV virus
2001 : First year in the 250cc class, 7th overall in Sx, missed 4 races due to injury. Placed 4th at the final round in Las Vegas. Placed 8th in the Nationals, with a podium at Red Bud, and many top 5 finishes. Rode for Team Chevy Trucks/Kawasaki.
2000 : AMA 125cc Eastern Region Sx Champion, won 4 out of 8 rounds.AMA 125cc National Mx Series, Led the series points for most of the season...took 4 overall wins, and an additional 5 overall podium finishes, placed 2nd and lost the championship by only 2 points. Member of Team, Yamaha of Troy Motocross Des Nations - Member of Team France
1999 : Started out the AMA 125cc Eastern Region Sx with 3 podium finishes before being sidelined by injuries. Placed 11th overall. AMA 125cc National Mx series, took overall podium finishes at Troy Ohio, Washougal WA, Binghamton N.Y., and Delmont PA. Member of Team, Yamaha of Troy
1998 : AMA125cc Western Region Sx, placed 3rd overall. Took 1st in Minneapolis Minn, and had 4 additional podiums finishes.125cc National Mx series finished in 7th place. Member of Team, Honda of Troy
1997 : Finished the season in 2nd place, in the AMA 125cc Eastern Region SX. Won the St. Louis and Pontiac Mich. rounds followed by 2 more podium finishes. Finished the 125cc National Mx series 5th in points. Placed in the top 10, in all but 2 rounds. Member of Team, Honda of Troy.
1995-1996 : Raced the FIM World Championships, placed 8th in '96. Won the Jr. French Championship in '95, at age 15.
